We left the campground in cloudy Lynnwood late this morning, and by the time we got into Seattle on I-5 it was raining. Well, what they call "rain" here in Seattle. Back in Pittsburgh, when someone tells you it's raining outside, you better get a raincoat and and an umbrella. Here, if someone tells you it's raining outside, all you need to take is a Kleenex if you wear glasses, because you may or may not need to wipe them off.
So we drove through the wimpy Seattle rain until we turned east on I-90 and found out that it really DOES rain here. All the way to Snoqualmie Pass (elevation just over 3,000 feet). There's a really neat waterfall on the way, but we didn't stop because of the weather. We'll pass it two more times and hopefully get some good pictures for you.
Anyway, after the Pass, the rain stopped and we got some beautiful scenery - green, green, trees, trees - everywhere! Pictures of that later also.
We got set up at a new campground and then went to the Suncadia Resort to meet everyone else. Nana played 'peek-a-boo' with Tessa while I showed Terri and Deborah how to play Scrabble:
The scenery from the balcony is beautiful:
We all had dinner together, then Nana and Poppa and I went back to the trailer and are ready for bed.
Tomorrow we'll go on a side trip with Unca Damon and Avi, then maybe go to the pool with Quinn and Tessa. I'll introduce you to Quinn's friend Danny - he and I have challenged anyone to play Scrabble against us!
