Columbus, Indiana

We left Richmond this morning and drove to Columbus, Indiana. Dottie and I didn't really want to walk around all day looking at some stupid buildings, so we had a plan. When Poppa and Nana parked at the visitor center, they came into the back and found us:





"Hey, we were just bored and wanted to play."

It worked - Nana and Poppa didn't think it was funny, and we were grounded! Wow - we didn't have to look at this big chunk of glass by someone named Chihuly:




We didn't have to see the Bartholomew County Court House:



We didn't have to see the Memorial for Veterans:




We didn't have to see a memorial for someone named Bill Coatsworth who served in VietNam:

We didn't have to go to this stupid playground:



Whoa, Nana - back up! Neat playground. Anything else?




An old fashioned soda fountain where you and Poppa had ice cream?

You know, some of those buildings really did look kind of neat, and we'd like to see them with you. If Dottie and I behave tonight, can we go with you tomorrow? Do you think they have pistachio ice cream?
