Saturday - Rest and chores at Midpines, outside Yosemite

(I probably can't post this until we get on the road on Sunday and get AT&T wireless coverage again.)

I woke up this morning to a familiar sound - gobble, gobble! I thought I was back home in Pittsburgh! Nana saw one of the turkeys outside the trailer. Maybe I can get a picture of them tomorrow.

Saturday was a "down" day. In the morning, Nana and Poppa cleaned the trailer. I had had such good luck at the casino in Las Vegas that I thought I'd try my luck at something else:

I guess I'm 163 years too late. Four hours of work and all I got was gravel and a stiff back.

In the afternoon, Nana and Poppa did laundry. With my wardrobe, that was easy:

(The book is just in case Nana and Poppa take me to Peru with them in September with Aunt Kim and Unca Joe.)

We'll be up early in the morning, "leaving for the coast". Poppa keeps humming some song and saying "Procol Harum", whatever that means.

We might even get a chance to see an eclipse tomorrow - the moon passing in front of the sun, as we look out at the Specific Ocean! (Poppa says it's the "Pacific Ocean", but he can't even pronounce "pasghetti and meatballs").
